The official Cyprus Permanent Residency by Investment programme (Regulation 6(2)) requires a minimum of €300,000 + VAT in new residential property. Can I include my adult children and spouse?+
Yes. Your spouse and all dependent children up to the age of 25 (studying full-time) are included. You may also include unmarried children above 25 in certain cases. All family members receive their own Permanent Residency cards.
Do I need to live in Cyprus full-time?+
No. There is no minimum stay requirement. You must visit Cyprus at least once every two years to keep your residency status active and renew your biometric card every 10 years.
Is the property investment refundable?+
You retain full ownership of the property. It is not a donation. You can sell the property after 5 years while retaining residency, provided you maintain a qualifying investment level of €300,000 if required for your status.
How long does the application take?+
